Hannah, my partner's daughter was selected to represent the UK at the World
Transplant Games this year, which were held in Bangkok.
The Transplant Games
is an Olympic style competition for people who have had an organ transplant
of some kind. Hannah had a liver transplant when she was six months old,
(she is now 15 and doing very well). The UK team are not funded by the
government or any other organisation, so team members have to raise money to
cover travel and hotel expenses.
We needed to raise £5000 to pay for Hannah, her brother and mother, to attend
the games. To help reach this figure Warfrog produced 1000 copies of Mordred,
with all profits going to the TSUK.
The games are now over and Hannah won two golds, a silver, and two
bronzes in the swimming events. Hopefully she will be selected for the
next World Games in two years.
I would like to thank everybody who has supported Hannah in different
ways in recent years.
